Fragrance and flavour operations at Ashford have grown from being a fledgling company set up in 1963, to become a key element within the global network for the leading company in our industry. The factory remains essentially unchanged and today still copes with the demands of supplying modern global manufacturers.

This is testament to the foresight and ambition of the PPL Chairman, Barry Hook, and his team. The opening press statements proudly announced that the factory was capable of producing 22 tonnes per year. Last year, the site produced more per day than in the entire first year of production.
